Alexandria White (CRU Panther, 1985-G1, 1995 – 2004) of Lynnfield, MA was named Northeast Conference (NEC) Rookie of the Week for her play from October 11th through October 17th. NEC is a NCAA conference of division 1 schools that includes Sacred Heart, Long Island University, Central Connecticut State, Monmouth, Quinnipiac, St Francis (PA), Wagner, Mount St. Mary’s and Robert Morris.
Fairleigh Dickinson went 1-0-2 during that span with Alex contributing two goals. The first gave Faireigh Dickenson an insurance goal versus Robert Morris and the second earned the draw with St. Francis. Fairleigh Dickinson is currently in first place in the conference and is looking forward to being the number one seed in the conference tournament.
Alex who has started every game at center midfield was last year’s MA Division 3 Player of the Year and captain at Lynnfield HS her Junior and senior year.
Alex played all of her club soccer at CRU starting at 10 years old and was captain for most of her time with CRU
