Maura Robertson Finishes Career at Providence and is Named to 2004 All-BIG EAST Team
Former CRU Sparks Standout Concludes her Four-year Soccer Career as Providence College’s All-time Assists Leader
 

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (November 8, 2004) -- Maura Robertson (CRU Sparks, 1982-G1, 1993 - 2002), a Providence College senior soccer standout was named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team on Thursday, November 4.

 

She was Providence College’s third leading scorer with seven points (one goal, five assists) this fall. Robertson, a four-year starter, leaves Providence as it’s fifth all-time leading scorer with 52 points (15 goals, 22 assists). Her accomplishments as a Friar include BIG EAST All-Rookie team honors (2001), SoccerBuzz.com All-Freshman Northeast Team honors (2001) and an appointment to the USASA National Select Team in 2002.

 

Robertson capped her four-year career as PC's all-time assist leader with 22.

Maura has been a Boston Renegade for the past two years (last year she was Renegade Club Player of the Year
