O'Rourke leads Somerset to State Tournament

Somerset High girls' soccer team
upset Canton High School 2-1 in a Preliminary Division 2 State Tournament game
in Canton this afternoon.
Junior Meg O'Rourke was a
significant contributor to Somerset's drive to the Tournament. "We have a
really strong defense," said Somerset Coach Ann Nassiff. "Meg O'Rourke has been
strong back there. She really (leads) the defense." O'Rourke also scored a goal
on a corner kick last Sunday against Case High which clinched a tourney berth
for Somerset. |
