CRU Player Adrienne Anderson named to
the All-ISL Team - Rivers wins New England Class C Championships

This fall season, The Rivers School had 12 student-athletes
named to All-Independent School League teams, four were named honorable
mention.
Girls’ Soccer - New England Class
C Champs
The girls' varsity soccer team brought home a New England
Championship, upsetting the top-seeded Wilbraham and Monson 2-1 in the finals
of the New England Class C Tournament played at Williston Northampton. The Red
Wings finished the season in third place in the ISL with a regular-season
record of 9-4-2 overall. This was the fourth-consecutive trip to the tournament
for the girls’ team. Freshman Adrienne Anderson finished the season with
11 goals and 5 assists.
Senior Tara Davidson,
sophomore Suzanne Jensen, and freshman Adrienne Anderson were named to the
all-ISL team. Sophomore Jacqui Durand was named an honorable
mention. |
