Jefferson Cup Acceptance Letter
Hello,
We were able to release acceptances a day early and figured why keep the
suspense!
I would first of all like to thank every team that applied to this
year's Cup. Every year the selection process gets tougher and tougher. This
year was no exception!
The Acceptance list is now up at www.strikersonline.com
You can see it either of two ways. You can go directly from the homepage
by clicking on the link under the "Latest News" section or you can click the
tournament button, then the Jefferson Cup Button. Once there, scroll down until
you see your age group. Click on the link and the brackets will appear.
Like I said, it was more difficult than ever this year, and decisions
were analyzed long and hard. For those teams that get the chance to play in
Richmond in March, I would like to remind you that all brackets are final. If
you feel that you are in a Bracket you don't deserve to be in, you will see red
highlighted teams throughout the selections. These are teams that came here and
made the most of their time, and now have been moved up due to winning their
brackets last year. That is the challenge presented to you. We don't miss many,
but if you can come and prove us wrong, you will see rewards in the future.
There will be more emails in the next couple of days that will give you
more information. So keep an eye out for us.
For those teams that did not get in, please note that emails, contacts,
and phone calls will not change the outcome of the brackets. You all are very
competitive, and I wish I could take more, but due to field space and lack of
resources, we are forced to be very selective each year. Your refund checks
will be sent within the upcoming week.
Good luck to you in the future and I hope to see greater results on next
year's applications. Good Luck to each and every one of your teams and I will
see you in the near future!
